NASA Television (Live Streaming)
View live coverage of NASA events, as well as regularly scheduled programming, via
streaming NASA TV. A complete schedule of upcoming events can also be found there.
There are two methods by which NASA streams its TV – Real Player and Windows Media Player (Sponsored by Yahoo!). For best results, Firefox users should use Windows Media Player, and Mac users should use Real Player. PC users with Internet Explorer or Netscape can use either stream.

The nasa.gov web site uses software such as Macromedia Flash to highlight its current missions and to provide site visitors with engaging interactive experiences such as the Astronaut Flight Lounge, the NASA Sky Safari, and M2K4: Roaming the Red Planet.

Viewing Flash
In order to view features created with Macromedia Flash, you need to have a Flash reader installed. You can download it for free at:

Turning Off Flash
For users with low-bandwidth connections or for those who simply do not wish to have Flash displayed, you can easily turn off this feature. At the top of the NASA home page, you will find a link named "Non-Flash Version." Simply click this link, and your subsequent pages will be flash-disabled. To turn back on Flash, simply re-click the link, which will now read, "Flash Version."
This feature uses a session cookie to "remember" that the user does not want to see Flash. The cookie expires when the user closes his or her Web browser. To permanently turn off Flash for future visits to the NASA site, users can set their preferences to avoid Flash. To set these preferences permanently, users must accept a persistent cookie.

Low-Bandwidth Connections
NASA recognizes that a number of our site visitors use low-bandwidth connections. To assist these visitors, we have created a low-bandwidth version of the site that will allow users with low-bandwidth connections quick access to the latest NASA news and events. To access the low-bandwidth version of our site, simply click the "Text Only" link at the top of the home page.
Online Video
Many feature stories have accompanying video. The site also includes a
video feature gallery, which highlights the latest mission and event-related videos.
Featured videos are usually in Quicktime, Windows Media Player or Real format. To download free software for each of these formats, visit our
download page.
Additional video can be seen via the NASAcast Video podcast. Past videos have included editions of NASA TV's "This Week at NASA" as well as Sir Paul McCartney's concert for the crew onboard the International Space Station.
