Providing the expertise and infrastructure to develop, design, fabricate and test flight hardware and ground support with the highest regard for safety and customer satisfaction is the mission of the Hardware Processing Office. It is made up of organizations and processes that are specific in nature, such as shuttle thruster refurbishment, and organizations responsible for the calibration, cleaning, and assembly of hardware used in WSTF’s test operations, flight hardware repair, refurbishment, and certification.
