Electromagnetic Compatibility & Telecommunications


The Electromagnetic Compatability & Telecommunications Program (ECT) was established in response to a request from private sector testing laboratories. The purpose of this program is to accredit testing laboratories found capable and competent to perform conformance testing in the areas of electromagnetic compatibility testing (EMC) and telecommunications.

The standards covered by this program are currently divided into five parts: 1) emissions, 2) immunity, 3) MIL-STD-462, 4) safety, and 5) telecommunications. The test method selection list includes the following test methods:
