Fishery Bulletin, published by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), is the oldest and most prestigious marine fishery science journal in the United States. The Bulletin publishes original research within the broad discipline of fishery science. Research fields include the following: ecology, oceanography, and limnology; mariculture; ocean pollution; physiology, behavior, and taxonomy of fishes and other marine organisms; gear technology; and mathematics, statistics, and economics relating to commercial and recreational fishing practices.
