Area Lists, for Permits Open for Comment
DEP issues permits for water discharges, air emissions and natural resource extraction. The permits outline pollution limits, all of which are open to public review and comment before they are finalized.
Each draft permit is open to a 30-day comment period. The public can review the permit, comment on its merits, or request changes. DEP is then required to respond to each comment before the permit is issued or denied.
Sign up now for weekly e-mails announcing permits open for public comment and review. Draft permits for water and coal under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System, air quality, solid waste, hazardous waste and voluntary remediation notices will be included in the e-mails.

You can get notices covering the whole state, or just one or more counties. If you have e-mail, enter your e-mail address below then click on the Submit button. You will soon get a confirmation e-mail with a temporary Password and a link to the mailing list site to complete the signup process.
To complete the signup process you will be asked to enter a password and select the counties you would like to receive mailings about.

Write to tell us which areas you want, and we will mail the weekly notices for each area. If it's possible for you we recommend email,
to save resources and to give you a little more time for comments, before the 30-day deadline.
