Answers to Your Environmental Questions
TVA's new Environmental Information Center provides a single source for answers to questions about shoreline land use, permitting procedures, water quality, recreation, and other issues related to the environment.
Concerns or Complaints
The TVA ombudsman for external stakeholders acts as a mediator for members of the public who have concerns or complaints about TVA activities.
Conversations With America
This monthly calendar lists open meetings conducted by TVA staff for collecting, providing, or discussing information and policy, including TVA Board meetings.
Environmental Reports
This page lists reports on TVA's environmental protection activities, including the Annual Environmental Report, environmental assessments of present or future projects, and findings related to current studies.
Land-Use Actions
These land-use notices cover requests from individuals or public agencies for shoreline construction permits (26a) or changes in the use of public lands under TVA management.
Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act (PURPA)
In 2007 TVA collected comments from staff and members of the public on proposed new standards related to time-based rate schedules and interconnection of consumer generation.
Transmission Line Projects
These notices cover current upgrades to the TVA transmission line system, which allow it to continue providing reliable power wherever it is needed.
