I'd like to say I'm an expert on all things PSP, but I can really only recommend things I've had my hands on. The following Top Picks lists are composed of things I actually use, and games I've actually played.
I think if you look at devices like the DS and the PSP, in a lot of ways, they’ve defined the past in handheld gaming, and I look at a product like the iPhone with the App Store, and I think it has the opportunity to redefine the future, from everything to how you acquire games – not to mention updating apps.If you read through some of the responses from readers at Kotaku, it doesn't look like too many people are really taking the iPhone seriously as a gaming machine. One reader even compared it the the ill-fated and much-maligned NGage. I have to admit, I've been lusting after an iPhone, but I doubt it'll replace my PSP as my primary handheld gaming machine (and for the record, I also own a DS and a GBA SP, and I'm contemplating a WonderSwan).
