Fall Hunting Information

The fall hunting season is upon us and our hunting information page brings all the info you need together. Get information on upcoming deer, turkey and waterfowl seasons as well as information on habitat in Missouri. Find out about drawings, reservations, and managed hunts around the state.

Provide input on permit changes

Missourians have until Dec. 16 to comment on hunting and fishing permit changes approved recently by the Missouri Conservation Commission. A summary of the proposed permit changes is available at http://mdc.mo.gov/18728.

Seedling Order Form

George O. White State Forest Nursery, near Licking, offers Missouri residents a variety of seedlings for reforestation, windbreaks, erosion control, as well as wildlife food and cover. The 2008-2009 Seedling Order form is updated and online. You can use the online order form to acquire seedlings, or download a printable, PDF version of the order form to mail or fax your order in.

Missouri's winter eagle watching is spectacular, and we hope you'll join us at any of the following locations to view our national symbol in the wild. From late December through early February, watch for eagles perched in large trees along the water's edge.
