Violators are subject to arrest. Foreign nationals must present a Permanent Resident Card, Passport with Visa or Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative compliant document.

Tour of HangarVisitors gather outside the hangar before a tour. Credit: NASA NASA's Glenn Research Center is opening the doors to its Lewis Field Campus in Cleveland, Ohio, for two full days. Join us on May 17 and 18 to see what lies behind our gates.

Our enthusiastic staff will guide you through world-class facilities and show you the technologies behind some of the nation's greatest innovations. You'll even see the work we're conducting to return America to the moon, including parts of Ares I, NASA's new rocket. Each event will feature activities for kids. And it's all free!

Facility Tours - Walk through a wind tunnel, enter the "Dome of Silence," explore "NASA's Drop Zone" and more on this walking tour of Glenn's world-class research facilities.

Educational Activities - Education specialists and friendly volunteers will lead a variety of hands-on, minds-on activities to inspire the next generation of explorers. Plus, teachers can learn about valuable resources to enhance their classroom activities.

Special Programs - Find out more about NASA's past, present and future while attending a special program in the Visitor Center auditorium and on other stages. Meet an Astronaut - Stop by our landmark Hangar to see our research aircraft and a variety of exhibits. You might bump into an astronaut! On Saturday, Cleveland native Carl Walz will appear from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. On Sunday, Charlie Camarda will appear from noon to 6 p.m.
