LOS ALAMOS, N.M., December 4, 2008 — “Brain Teasers,” a traveling exhibit, is now on display at Los Alamos National Laboratory’s Bradbury Science Museum.

The interactive exhibit is a collection of more than 20 puzzles and mind benders that test the abilities of even the most experienced problem solver. The exhibit offers a wide array of challenges – from mathematical conundrums to a mind-boggling block puzzle. The exhibit provides fun, hands-on activities for people of all ages, said Bradbury Science Museum Director Linda Deck.

The exhibit is in the museum’s TechLab and is on loan from Explora, Albuquerque’s experiential science, technology, and art learning center. The exhibit remains at the museum through March 31, 2009. Instructions for how to interactively use the exhibit are in Spanish and English.

The Bradbury Science Museum features films and interactive exhibits interpreting the Laboratory’s contributions to science, research, and technology, including its role in the Manhattan Project and current national security mission.

The museum is located at 15th Street and Central Avenue in downtown Los Alamos and is open daily except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday and Monday. Admission is free and photos are allowed.

For more information, call 667-4444 or go to the museum’s Web site.
