ON SPANISH TERRORISM INVESTIGATION:

“Spain, like the United States, has been the victim of the atrocities of terrorists connected with al Qaeda. We have worked closely with the Spanish government on terrorism investigations in Spain, and we will continue to do so in the future, consistent with our law and national security interests. Likewise, Spain has provided valuable information regarding terrorist attacks in the United States. Amer Azizi is a wanted terrorist fugitive. We will continue to cooperate closely with our international allies to see that he and other terrorists are captured and brought to justice.”
