TO LOUISIANA, TENNESSEE, AND NORTH CAROLINA


WASHINGTON, D.C. - Attorney General John Ashcroft will travel to New Orleans, Louisiana; Nashville, Tennessee; and Charlotte, North Carolina on Thursday, September 25, 2003, to make remarks before audiences of law enforcement personnel. The Attorney General’s remarks will focus primarily on the progress America has made in fighting crime and in the war against terror.

DUE TO EXTRA SECURITY MEASURES, PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY. ALL media MUST PRESENT GOVERNMENT-ISSUED PHOTO ID (such as driver’s license) as well as valid media credentials.

Registration for media will take place approximately one HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES prior to THE start of EACH event.
