ATTORNEY GENERAL RENO TO PARTICIPATE IN CARIBBEAN

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Attorney General Janet Reno will participate in the Caribbean Ministerial on Regional Law Enforcement on Monday, June 12, 2000 and Tuesday, June 13, 2000 in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. Issues to be discussed include extradition, asset forfeiture and money laundering, anti-corruption efforts and drug prosecutions.

The Attorney General will participate in a press conference and signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Prime Minister Panday on Monday, June 12 at 7:00 p.m. The Attorney General will also visit the Piparo Drug Treatment Center on Monday, June 12 at 4:00 p.m.
