Former PRSA president named visiting professor at UF

GAINESVILLE, Fla. –– Del Galloway, former president and chief executive officer of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), will translate his 23 years of corporate and agency experience into classroom lessons this fall as the Freedom Forum Distinguished Visiting Professor at the University of Florida’s College of Journalism and Communications.

While you can see the immediate destruction caused by a hurricane, after effects like carbon monoxide inhalation and food poisoning often don’t become clear until days later. Now, experts at the University of Florida have helped develop a real-time system for monitoring post-storm health threats.

Low home sales and high fuel prices hit consumer confidence
