Find Funding Opportunities at HUD
HUD
publishes a comprehensive listing of funds it has available in what
is called the SuperNOFA.
This document lists all the programs that HUD funds through a competitive
grant process.
One
thing to be aware of: The large majority of HUD's funding is distributed
in what are called "formula grants," which are not available
in the SuperNOFA. Formula grants are administered by state and local
administrations. To find out how you can get connected to HUD funding
opportunities in your community, contact your
nearest HUD field office.
Find Funding Opportunities in Other Federal Agencies
There
are eleven Centers for Faith-Based and Community Initiatives. Besides
the HUD Center, the others are located at the Departments of Agriculture, Commerce, Education,
Health
and Human Services, Homeland Security, Justice,
Labor,
Veterans Affairs,
the Agency for International Development, and the Small Business Administration. Each Center is dedicated to helping faith- and community-based organizations serve their respective public missions.
