The Commission is comprised of twenty-six Commissioners, each a community leader with expertise in areas such as education, public safety, human services, volunteer activities, business/labor and government. The role of the Commission is to advocate, review and adjust the state's position on issues related to the community service and volunteer sectors.
An Executive Director, appointed by the Governor, administers the day-to-day operations and the staff of the OFBCI.
