NGWA and its members regularly provide input on legislation and regulations affecting ground water and members' businesses.

We provide scientific input into ground water use, protection, and remediation legislation and regulation.

In addition, we are an active participant in debates regarding drinking water quality and delivery methods. Business issues are also addressed from the perspective of ground water industry practices.

Take action

There are several ways in which you can help impact rulemaking concerning the ground water industry:

NGWA Standard Bearer Network — join the network and make your voice heard. Network members write, phone, fax, or e-mail legislators about issues that impact ground water, its use, protection, and remediation. Access tools and information to help in this endeavor.
NGWA Fly-in — Go to Washington, DC, and make your voice heard in person.
Volunteer committees — volunteer groups aid NGWA in achieving its goals. There are three that relate to government issues.
