The NREC Program addresses needs and issues in environmental education by:

Providing educational programs and materials for K-12 teachers, youth leadersand environmental educators
Organizing an environmental conference and other programs for youth
Piloting new approaches for community service learning and involving youth in environmental protectio
Creating environmental education programs that are consistent with Massachusetts frameworks for education
