About Digital Issues
Publishers are embracing the digital world, using the Internet's unprecedented reach to market, distribute, package, and enhance the discoverability of their products, and to help their authors build relationships with existing audiences and attract new readers. At the same time, publishers are working hard to ensure the protection of books against electronic piracy. AAP's digital issues committees are forums where publishers share information and ideas, work on technical standards, and develop and implement strategies to utilize the opportunities and meet the challenges of the Internet age.
