Nokia Corporation (Nokia) is player in mobile industry. The Company makes a range of mobile devices with services and software that enable people to experience music, navigation, video, television, imaging, games, business mobility and more. From January 1, 2004 through March 31, 2007, Nokia had four business groups: Mobile Phones, Multimedia, Enterprise Solutions and Networks, supported and serviced by two horizontal groups: Customer and Market Operations and Technology Platforms, in addition to various Corporate Functions. In June 2008, Nokia completed the transfer of its Adaptation Software Research and Development (R&D) operations to Sasken Communication Technologies Limited. In June 2008, Nokia completed the acquisition of Trolltech ASA. In July 2008, Nokia Corporation completed the acquisition of NAVTEQ Corporation, and Plazes, a privately owned start-up company.
