Public invited to watch championship game in O’Connell Center

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The University of Florida is inviting all Gator fans to the O’Connell Center on Monday evening to watch the men’s basketball team play in the NCAA championship game.

Wall Street Journal: Collier Donation

A $1 million donation from UF alumnus Nathan Collier to the Warrington College of Business Administration was noted in the March 30 Wall Street Journal. The money will create an endowment for the Master of Science in Real Estate program. The Journal is a paid subscription so no link is available.

UF ceramics exhibition explores the versatility of clay

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Ten University of Florida contemporary ceramics artists explore the versatility of clay in an exhibition called “This Side Up” at the WARPhaus Gallery April 2-6. As they near the completion of their bachelor of fine arts candidacy at the College of Fine Arts, the senior students will display an exciting collection of artwork.

Executive privilege must not derail probe

The recent firing of eight U.S. attorneys illustrates the fine line between politics and policy in our democracy. Whether the Bush administration did anything wrong depends on which side of the line its conduct fell. Because the evidence indicates the possibility of political manipulation of the prosecutorial function, Congress must persist in ferreting out the truth.
