Procurement and Contract Services (PaCS) is the purchasing agency for Oregon State University and has the legal authority to negotiate leases, and procure professional, construction, and service and supply contracts on behalf of the University. Greater efficiency, both in terms of economy to the University and service to the departments, is achieved through specialization of purchasing and contracting. The role of Procurement and Contract Services, therefore, is to obligate the University for contractual services and to procure quality supplies and equipment as economically and conveniently as possible.
For requests for purchases, contract reviews and general inquiries contact pacs at pacs@oregonstate.edu. This is the quickest and most efficient method for submitting purchase requests and contact reviews as all projects must be assigned and tracked. Once submitted projects are assigned based on analyst availability, area of expertise, project complexity and current workload.
