Wednesday, December 3, 8 a.m.-12 p.m.
Outdoor demonstrations will be conducted at an off-site location to expose both newly hired and experienced professionals to the latest investigative techniques and equipment. Demonstrations will focus on four specific areas:
- Drilling/push technology
- Water sampling
- Geophysics
- Grouting.
Continuous complimentary transportation will be furnished from the Las Vegas Convention Center to the demonstration site beginning at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. Demonstrations are scheduled in half-hour increments; some may be repeated depending on time available.
When boarding the bus, registered Expo attendees will be given a waiver to sign and return when arriving at the site. NGWA Safety Subcommittee members will be on board to provide a mini tailgate talk during the 10-minute ride. Continuing education forms will also be distributed at that time.
NGWA has applied to regulatory agencies for recognition of these demonstrations for continuing education credit. (Check with your specific state agency for its decision.) NGWA recognizes the demonstrations for continuing education point credit by those participating in the NGWA Voluntary Certification Program. (Attendance is worth 2 CEPs.)

Water and portable sanitary facilities will be available at the demonstration site; however, there are no bleachers. Wear comfortable shoes and dress in layers as it can be very windy in Las Vegas in December.
