Principles and Concepts of Variogram and Kriging Analysis for Environmental Applications
This course provides environmental professionals with complete
training in geostatistical variogram and kriging analysis enabling them
to provide optimal spatial estimation and statistical uncertainty
analysis to their environmental assessments. Attendees will analyze
real data sets using geostatistical software that is provided to them
with the course. Course topics and computer exercises will include data
verification, spatial data display and summarization, assessing the
spatial correlation of environmental data, understanding and using
kriging to assess environmental hazards, and graphing and reporting
environmental data.
