Description: This project was a cooperative effort among various agencies and groups with a vested interest in food safety from farm-to-table. The major goal was for state core teams to develop a plan for implementing HACCP education from farm-to-table within their states. This manual provides resources to help with this planning process, including information related to food safety, HACCP education and implementation models, a state HACCP Team Workbook, marketing strategies and evaluation tools. The manual and conference address HACCP as it relates to the various segments of the food chain: producers, processors, foodservice managers/retailers and adult.
