UK Athletics Marketing, Promotions and Licensing

INTERNSHIPS

The University of Kentucky Athletics Marketing Department is currently seeking interns for the 2008-09 academic year. As an intern with UK's Athletics Marketing Department, you will assist with gameday promotional activities, special events, and other work as assigned in the office.

Requirements for UK Athletics Marketing Interns:

  • You must have at least 2 academic years remaining at UK
  • You will be assigned to a minimum of 1 sport per season (Fall, Winter, Spring) and you are expected to work at 100% of the events for that particular sport
  • You will be expected to work additional events and hold office hours
  • You will need to inform the Marketing Department of your class schedule and provide academic reports, so as not to miss any classes or let this internship affect your GPA
  • You must follow the dress code for events and in the office that will be explained to you prior to the start of your internship
  • You must be available on nights and weekends, as this is when most of our events occur
