Description: The purpose of this teaching kit is to teach people why and how to use a food thermometer when cooking small cuts of meat (meat patties, chicken breasts, pork chops). The curriculum is comprised of four parts that require 50 minutes of class time each, plus about 20 minutes prior to beginning the lessons for administering a pretest and assigning homework. All of the printed materials and PowerPoint slides are provided on a CD.
