ASEH and Advocacy

On March 3, 2007 ASEH's Executive Committee approved guidelines for ASEH to adopt positions of advocacy on matters directly relevant to the practice of history, such as ensuring continued access to documents and archival materials.  This is a major step for our development as a professional society, and we urge all members to review the following Guidelines for Advocacy and the Resolution Opposing EPA Library Closures.  If you have questions or comments, please contact director@aseh.net.
