Greenhouse vegetable production. Teaching and research responsibilities in vegetable crops and greenhouse food production, with emphasis
on sustainable practices. Offer graduate course, HS543, through distance education in odd-numbered spring semesters. Extension responsibilities in greenhouse and high tunnel vegetables. Research interests in environmental physiology and global climate change. Current research areas: Heat stress in tomato; use of organic fertilizers in soilless media; high tunnel tomato production and tomato grafting.
