IP Services

WIPO provides a range of services for the owners and users of intellectual property (IP).

These include international registration services, which enable applicants to seek protection for their patents, trademarks or designs in multiple countries by filing a single application. WIPO also maintains IP classification systems, which are used for registering IP and facilitate searches in IP databases and registries.

WIPO's Arbitration and Mediation Center offers alternative dispute resolution services for private parties involved in international IP disputes. This includes Internet domain name dispute resolution for tackling cybersquatting.
