As you know, we recently joined Clearspring, the leading widget network connecting publishers and advertisers to audiences on the social web. Over the last several years, Clearspring has built a world-class analytics engine for distributed applications. Over the next several months, the AddThis team will be leveraging that engine to create and test all kinds of cool stuff as we build our Universal Sharing Platform. At the beginning, we are using it to get a better handle on how people are using AddThis. Moving forward, we will be using these insights to create a better sharing experience, deep publisher analytics, monetization capabilities, and more.
