The Soil Survey of NRCS is led by the Director of Soil Survey. The National Soil Survey Center, World Soil Resources and the National Geospatial Development Center are administrative subdivisions of the Director. The National Cartography & Geospatial Center, soil program leaders of state offices and MLRA Soil Survey offices are integral parts of Soil Survey but not administrated by the Director of Soil Survey.
