Iowa State - US Environmental History Position
U.S. environmental history. Tenure-track assistant professor, beginning August 16, 2009.
Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate survey and
upper-division courses in environmental history and U.S. history, along
with participation in the Department’s doctoral program in Agricultural
History and Rural Studies and/or the History of Technology and Science.
Teaching load is 2-2, and faculty members are eligible for competitive
internal research grants, in a department dedicated to strength in both
research and teaching. Ph.D. required by August 15, 2009, as well as
experience that demonstrates evidence of teaching ability and research
