Trade Publishers Executive Committee
Actively involved in AAP's national book industry campaign, Get Caught Reading, this committee's membership is open to any senior professional representative of small and large commercial trade publishing members of the association and meets four to five times a year. Among the committee's roles is to discuss and advise AAP staff and Board on issues pertinent to the national bookselling and trade publishing industries - returns, e-books, industry conglomeration, book awards, children's and audio publishing, online bookselling and censorship. The committee develops programs in concert with various partners to expand market outreach via print and broadcast media campaign, trade and consumer book fairs and special projects.
