Description: |
Identification of opportunities for silvicultural treatment from inventory data is an important objective of Renewable Resources Evaluation in the Pacific Northwest. This paper describes the field plot design and data analysis procedure used by what used to be known as Forest Survey to determine the treatment opportunity associated with each inventory plot
in western Oregon and Washington. Information thus obtained should be of considerable interest to planners, legislators, and public administrators. |
