Description: In 1967, the forested area of Humboldt County totaled 1,850,000 acres, or approximately 81 percent of the county's total land area. Of the total forest land area, 1,701,000 acres, or 92 percent, is commercial forest land; 47,000 acres is productive-reserved forest land in State parks; and 102,000 acres is unproductive forest land.
