Payroll

Our Mission:

As part of Business Affairs, Payroll Office serves as a support function to the University's mission of teaching, research and outreach. The primary mission of Payroll is to deliver outstanding payroll services to University employees, while meeting its legal obligations.

Opt Out of Paper Earning Statements (available to Direct Depositors only)

We now offer the ablility to go "paperless" with your earning statement through Employee Online Services.

  • Select "Fauclty/Staff/Employee Information"
  • Login (the first time you login your GAP is your birthdate.)
  • Select "Employee Information"
  • Then "Pay Information"
  • Consent for Electronic Payroll Earning Statements (Direct Depositors only)

You can also sign up for Direct Deposit, access your earning statement or your W-2 at anytime using Employee Online Services under the "Employee Information" menu.

Fast Facts Effective January 2009:

  • The minimum wage in Oregon is now $8.40 per hour, up from $7.95.
  • FICA rate remains at 7.65% - 6.2% for Social Security, 1.45% for Medicare
  • Social Security wage base is raised to $106,800.
  • OSU pays approximately 9800 employees monthly, including students
