    If you are interested in possibly Studying Abroad, consider attending a First Steps meeting. First Steps meetings are held every weekday, at 12 and 4pm on the 4th Floor of Snell Hall



    "Nurturing and inspiring the extraordinary"
    The Center for Leadership Development is hosting a six part conversation series to investigate "ways in which we might nurture, inspire, and challenge students to find their potential for the 'extraordinary.'"
    Students, faculty, and staff are all encouraged to join Dr. Larry Roper and Dr. Cary Green for this conversational series. The next meeting will take place on January 22nd between 9am-10am. Click here to download more information.



    Many of you may be considering studying within the College of Business (COB). One of the first steps toward declaration is attendance at a COB orientation session. Check here for upcoming sessions.



    Application deadlines for most study abroad opportunities. Study abroad opportunities for OSU students have recently increased, as have the total number of OSU students studying abroad. The International Education and Outreach (IEO) office has established "preferred deadlines" for submitting applications.
    The deadlines are:
    Summer of Fall term programs: February 15
    Winter or Winter/Spring term programs: October 15
    Spring term programs: November 15

    Important Dates for the winter 2009 quarter

    Here are some important dates and “Last Day” deadlines to pay attention to relating to fall term.

    Monday, January 5 Classes Begin
    Sunday, January 11 Last day to register or add courses via the web
    Friday, January 16 Last day to add a class via instructor and departmental signatures - 5pm
    Friday, January 16 Last day to drop a class via the web - 11:55pm
    Monday, January 19 Martin Luther King Day - No School
    Monday, February 2 UESP advising for Spring term courses begins
    Friday, February 20 Last day for course withdraw or change to or from S/U grading
    Friday, March 13 Last day for Total Withdrawal from the University (W grade for each registered course)
    March 16-20
