Collaboration Grantsmanship
Workshop
Co-Chairs:
Dr. David Radcliffe, University of Georgia
Dr. Teferi Tsegaye, Alabama A&M University
Ms. Lisa Duriancik, USDA-CSREES
Purpose:
• The goal of this workshop is to increase the number
and competitiveness of proposals and ultimately successful funded
projects submitted by 1890 Historically Black Land Grant Colleges
and Universities, 1994 Tribal Land Grant Colleges and Universities,
and island or territory institutions.
• This workshop will have a specific focus on collaborations
among these minority-serving and other institutions with 1862
Land Grant institutions.
Objectives are:
• advise and work with faculty on how to write a successful
grant proposal for the CSREES 406 Water Quality Program and
NRI Water and Watersheds Program
• provide opportunities for faculty from 1862 and 1890,
1994, island and territory institutions to find partners and
begin to develop collaborations
• generate a list of faculty from 1890,1994, and other
island or territory institutions who will volunteer to serve
as review panel members
