operational amplifier
An operational amplifier, often called an op-amp , is a DC-coupled high-gain electronic voltage amplifier with differential inputs and, usually, a single output. Typically the output of the op-amp is controlled either by negative feedback, which largely determines the magnitude of its output voltage gain, or by positive feedback, which... more »

Simple audio encoding... how?
Hi, I want to encode a mono audio signal into a digital squarewave where the repitition frequency is the same as the instantaneous incoming audio, and the pulse width is proportional to the amplitude. It's easy enough to clip the audio to get the right repitition frequency, but I'm not sure about the amplitude encoding. Something... more »

What gadget/s can't you currently leave your home without and why ?
What specific gadget/s (as in the brand and model) can't you currently (seriously or humorously) leave your home without and please say why, for anything named. It's fine if anything mentioned is primarily cell phone - mobile phone related, but it doesn't have to be.

Anti Spam at the Enterprise Level
Anti Spam at the Enterprise Level Every one of us knows how spam impacts us. Every day we either get a ton of spam - or if we're fairly well protected by spam filters - only a few pieces. br-articles.blogspot.com/2008/11/anti-spam-at-enterprise-level.html

12V LED dimmer/timing circuit advice required, please!
Hi, all. Relative newb here - relative in the sense that I used to dabble in some electronics as a youngster and did some electronics theory in A- level physics but that don't make me an expert as such. Okay, so onto my problem. I bought a set of these the other day: [link]... more »

Choosing a DAC
Hello All, I have chosen analog devices AD5532HS for my project. The main reason that I chose this DAC was because of its 32 voltage output channels. You can find the DAC at [link] My post is long and I request you to be patience and helpful. I need... more »
