Give someone view-only access to your student record
Parents and Guests who have already been granted access may enter here: Parent/Guest Access
The Parent/Guest Access link gives any person you choose view-only access to one or more of these six subject areas of your student record:
- Enrollment Summary
- Financial Aid Status
- Grades
- Holds
- Student Account
- View Financial Aid Awards
Authorize access by:
- Clicking on the "Parent/Guest Access" link
- Then invite a parent, spouse, or other third party to be a guest viewer via an e-mail generated within the application.
- Your guest responds to the e-mail invitation by clicking on an encoded link within the e-mail. This process associates your student record with your guest and provides your guest with a secure University Internet ID and password.
- You are automatically notified via e-mail when step 3 has been completed. At this point, you can grant your guest viewing rights to one or more of the six subject areas. You may cancel viewing access to your record at any time.
Note: To allow another person (e.g., parent) to view and/or pay the charges on your online billing statement, you must also authorize them through UM Pay.
