Large fire activity was reported in Oklahoma and Utah.

Weather: A weather system moving across the northwest quarter of the country will bring dry and windy conditions to protions of the southern Great Basin and Rocky Mountain Areas. Cooler temperatures and precipitation will move across central and northern California, the Northwest and Idaho. Southern California will see cooler temperatures and higher relative humidity with onshore flow. The Southeast will continue to see dry conditions with low realtive humidity under the influence of a strong high pressure system.
