• Michigan Deer Hunting Season Continues
The regular 2008 firearms deer season is in the books, but Michigan's firearms deer hunters have an opportunity to get back in the woods beginning Friday (Dec. 5) as muzzleloader season opens in the Upper Peninsula and in southern Michigan. Black-powder season continues for 10 days in the Upper Peninsula and 17 days in Zone 3. The 10-day northern Lower Peninsula season begins Dec. 12.
