@rjleaman - Yes it was an out of date install that hadn't had any content for a little while, I think both were factors |
@mywifequit - Yeah someone hacked my photography blog but it's my own fault for not keeping it up to date, it was much neglected |
@rjleaman - I didn't find that file on mine but there were other suspicious files and obv altered template so look for anything out of place |
@simonbarker - A reader pointed it out, when I viewed source they were there :( |
@OrlandoBusiness - Hack I believe because the other folks I know using the theme were fine |
@rafaelmarquez - I was warned by a reader (the links were hidden) but look for remv.php in your wp-content/themes/ directory |
@KimHarrison1 - I am not sure if it was the free theme, the old wp install or a vulnerability at the host, but they injected spam code :( |
