Applied Research Program in Pathology

The Program conducts applied research to 1) Develop new diagnostic methods for use in identifying disease pathogens in hatchery and wild fish populations; and 2) Identify newly emerging fish diseases and pathogens.

Capabilities/Technical Services:

• Development of diagnostic tools.
• Idenitification of previously undescribed pathogens.
• Fish pathogen repository.
