The Arts & Letters Division offers a major in English for those who wish to prepare for graduate study in English, religion, and law, and for those who plan careers in fields which require critical thinking and clear expression.

We offer both a major and a minor in Spanish for students who plan careers in which a proficiency in Spanish may be desirable or necessary. Many majors require study of a foreign language. The Division offers basic courses in Spanish, Fremch, and German to fulfill this requirement.

Creative Expressions

The Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree is awarded in a variety of disciplines.  The BFA prepares a student for work in a varitey of artistic and commercial areas, and it also provides unique preparation for graduate studies in art-related fields.

Students with artistic talents may develop their abilities in art studio classes, or, alternatively, they may make their primary focus the history and theory of art .  For more information about the Arts programs, call:
