BIPARTISAN EFFORTS LAID THE GROUND WORK FOR NEW AIRPORT
Washington, D.C.—Bipartisan efforts were led by Congressman Steve Buyer (IN-04) and late Congresswoman Julia Carson in laying the ground work for the new airport terminal that opens on Tuesday. Congressman Buyer and Congresswoman Carson led Congressional efforts to gain the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) full support for the proposed new terminal.

Monticello, IN— Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc. and the National Association of Manufacturers honored Congressman Steve Buyer (IN-04) as the recipient for the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) Award for Manufacturing Legislative Excellence. This prestigious award acknowledges Congressman Buyer’s solid support of the manufacturing agenda and his commitment to the businesses in Indiana. Congressman Buyer was awarded for his exemplary voting record on behalf of the manufacturers, showing his support for the manufacturers’ pivotal role in the U.S. economy.
GROUND BREAKING FOR HOOSIER HEARTLAND CORRIDOR'S FINAL SEGMENT;
Washington, D.C.—Governor Mitch Daniels, Congressman Steve Buyer, and area leaders today broke ground on the Hoosier Heartland Corridor’s (HHC) final segment. Congressman Steve Buyer (R-IN) attended today’s groundbreaking ceremony along with other leaders who have played an important role in the project including State Senator Brandt Hershman and Mayor Tony Roswarski of Lafayette.
ACADEMY NOMINATION APPLICATION DEADLINE IS NOVEMBER 1ST
