York College BaseballHead Coach:Nick Harlan Team Profile:The 2008 Panthers recorded a 13 game win streak, won 17 of their last 21 games, and earned a spot in the MCAC tournament. York College had 1 player named 2nd Team All-American, 3 All-Region, and 4 players were named First Team All-MCAC. For the second consecutive year, and only the second time in school history, the Panthers secured a spot in the Region IV tournament. The Panthers have also sent two players on to play with major league affiliated teams. In 2006, Jeremy Williams signed with the Chicago Cubs and in 2007, Andrew Kerth singed with the San Francisco Giants organization. Coach's Comments:“Baseball is a great platform to teach disciplines that promote character development. We want our players to experience growth academically, athletically, socially, and spiritually. The players have the opportunity to impact others and enjoy success when they challenge themselves daily to be better players and men. This is truly what it means to be a champion!” More:For more information on York College Baseball, visit the team's website York College Baseball. |
