Welcome to the Digital Learning Network
Experience out-of-this-world interactive learning with NASA's Digital Learning Network™!
Free, interactive programs allow you and your students to learn more about our home planet and to journey into space using video-conferencing and Web casts. Students of all ages are able to speak directly with NASA personnel including scientists, engineers, astronauts, and education specialists. Placing an emphasis on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), the DLN offers a wide variety of distance learning events designed to educate through demonstrations and real time interactions with experts. All programs are aligned to national standards with pre- and post-activities to enhance your video conference and Web cast experiences. Join NASA's DLN as we go back to the Moon, onto Mars, and beyond.

NASA eClips are short, relevant educational video segments. These videos inspire and engage students, helping them see real world connections. New video segments are produced weekly exploring current applications of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) topics. The programs are produced for targeted audiences: K-5, 6-8,9-12 and the general public.

DLN Staff Profile: Roger Storm


Roger Storm is in his 15th year at the Glenn Research Center, 13 years as Summer Faculty and now two years as the GRC Digital Learning Network Coordinator. He taught high school chemistry and science for 35 years. Roger and GRC engineer Tom Benson have given talks around the country as the Wright brothers. He is the principal author of NASA's educator’s guides "Learning to Fly: The Wright Brothers Adventure” and “Pushing the Envelope: A NASA Guide to Engines.” Married for 35 years, he is the father of eight and the grandfather of ten and a four-day "JEOPARDY" champion.
