Dear Friends,
Autumn is an incredibly active time in Woodbridge -- there's walks for breast cancer research and domestic violence prevention and several exciting arts events.
* Oct. 27 — Senior Masquerade Ball @ YMCA-Woodbridge Community Center, 1-4 p.m.
* Nov. 8 — Barron Arts Center International Night @ Trinity Episcopal Church, 6-9 p.m.
Be sure to click on the Community Calendar link above to find out more about these events and many, many more.

A very special event coming up is the 2nd Annual Veteran’s Day Parade Sun. Nov. 9 starting at 2:30 p.m. Units will organize in St. James Parking lot at 1:30 p.m. and march down Main Street to Town Hall.
We all owe a great deal to the men and women who have served in our nation’s military. This parade is a simple but forthright way for our community to show our gratitude and continued support. I hope to see you there.

Here at Town Hall we continually strive to make government more efficient and less costly to our citizens.
Several recent examples of ways we found to share services and cut costs are outlined in an article published in New Jersey Municipalities magazine, a respected statewide publication.

We’ve just begun the Woodbridge Multi-Family Crime Prevention Program. If you have a crime tip or see suspicious behavior, please call this number: (732) 855-TIPS or (732) 855-8477. It is the Woodbridge Police Crime Tips Hotline, and your participation will play an enormous role in helping keep our community safe.

If you have time between 11 a.m.-1 p.m. any day Monday through Friday, Woodbridge Meals on Wheels needs your help to deliver meals to homebound seniors in our Township.
Call (732) 634-4141 and ask for Barbara. It is urgent, and they need volunteers right away -- today.
Even if you can only put in 1 day a week or 1 day a month, you'll be making a big difference in a lot of lives.
Sincerely,
John E. McCormac
Mayor
